"Holistic" DentistryFads vs. Evidenced-Based Practices By By definition, a holistic dentist cares about a person's complete health rather than strictly focusing on teeth. Each modern dentist should offer a "holistic" approach to patient care, especially given everything we know today about the connection between oral health and general health. The theme with "holistic" dentistry is that the term has taken a different meaning. Instead of referring to the whole person's approach, "Holoistic dentistry" for many has come to mean a form of dentistry that prevents certain treatments that have been used safely and effectively for decades. Unfortunately, you don't have to look far to find people questioning the validity of accepted science, although the "proof" offered does not resist a closer scrutiny. Social media are attacking with controversial claims: A celebrity states that vaccines cause autism; a politician claims that global warming is a deception; a website offers "a rare trick" to cure cancer. This disturbing trend also goes to dentistry. Recently, several theories have been circulating on the Internet (and elsewhere) that question some key dental treatments that, after years of research and clinical experience, are considered the current standards of care. Here we will challenge some of the most common claims among the advocates of holistic dentistry. Holistic Dentistry Claim 1: Root Canals Cause Disease Dentists perform more than 15 million root canal treatments each year in the United States alone. These treatments are necessary when a bacterial infection has made its way deep within a tooth. Untreated and harmful left bacteria may eventually spread to the jaw and beyond. There are two basic treatment options for a tooth with infected pulp tissue: You can remove (removed) or have endodontic treatment (root channel). While extraction may seem the simplest answer, getting a replacement tooth can be a long-consuming and cost-effective option. However, in most cases missing teeth should be replaced not only by the good of appearance, but also to preserve oral health and to prevent other teeth from changing. A root canal procedure can really save the infected tooth. The sick tissue is removed, the inside of the tooth is disinfected and the tooth is sealed to prevent reinfection. Despite its undeserved reputation, root canal therapy is generally no more uncomfortable than getting a filling and, in fact, it eliminates pain. What's the problem? In the early twentieth century, the Weston Price dentist promoted a theory that conserving a "death" organ (the tooth) in the body led to a variety of diseases. The variations of that same idea are growing today, often with the claim that the root canals are linked to the problems of the immune system, cancer and various systemic diseases. Is there any truth in these claims? First, a tooth treated by the root canal is not a dead organ as Price stated: it is attached to the body by blood vessels, nerve tissue and collagen fibers through the periodontal ligament, and to this date there is no scientific evidence to show that the root canals cause disease anywhere in the body. In 1951, responding to Price's claims, the Journal of the American Dental Association devoted an entire issue to the issue. Your conclusion: There was no evidence to support these claims. As for the claims about cancer, a study published in 2013 in a specialized American Medical Association magazine found that having a root canal does not increase the risk of cancer; in fact, people who had multiple endodontic treatments had an incidence of oral cancer of 45 percent less than people who did not have or less root canals! While the study does not claim that root canal therapy prevents cancer (so I do not recommend unnecessary root canal treatment as a preventive measure!), it is clear that endodontic treatment is not a detriment to your health. It seems more "holistic" to save a tooth and keep you whole instead of extracting it. Holistic Dentistry Claim 2: X-rays must be avoided at all costs X-rays have been used in medicine and dentist for more than a century. A form of electromagnetic radiation, X-rays can penetrate human tissues, allowing us to see what is beneath the surface. They have been used to diagnose diseases that cannot be seen otherwise. The concern is that the small amount of radiation involved could lead to cancer or other diseases. In this case, it is perfectly reasonable to ask if it is possible to minimize the risks. Any dentist should only use X-rays when necessary to diagnose problems that cannot be seen with the eye. My opinion is that a complete set of X-rays should be made every three years for most people. If you have frequent cavities, X-rays will be needed more often to protect you from more significant problems. Changing your diet and improving your oral hygiene can help reduce your risk of cavities and thus limit your exposure to X-rays. In everyday life, we all have a certain amount of radiation (measured in units called millisieverts, or mSv) from many sources. The cosmic rays of the sky, ground gas, smoke detectors and airport security scanners, along with certain medical procedures, add to our general exhibition, which can total about 3-5 mSv a year. Fortunately, the vast majority of us get a too low dose to hurt. A typical X-ray in a dental checkup adds about .005 mSv to our total exposure; that is almost the same as we get from solar radiation on a normal day. A panoramic X-ray, in which a sensor rotates all the way around the head, can add the double. Certain specialized imaging systems, such as cone-beam tomographies, can deliver up to 1.07 mSv, a significantly higher amount. It makes sense to limit radiation exposure as much as possible. That's why your dentist places a protective apron in your body when you take an X-ray. It is also why the American Dental Association (ADA) recommends that X-rays be used only when necessary, not in each cheque. The decision to use an X-ray should always balance the medical benefit against the slight risks posed by radiation. If you have concerns, do not hesitate to ask your medical professionals if an X-ray is necessary and how they can minimize your exposure. Holistic Denial Claim 3: Silver fillers are toxic "Silver" (amalgam) fillings are actually a alloy (mixture) of metals containing approximately 50% mercury, but do they put their health at risk? It is true that elemental mercury (the brilliant liquid metal) and many mercury compounds are toxic. Mercury pollution in the environment, including air and water (and especially in the tissues of certain fish), is a matter of concern, especially for children and pregnant women. But this is not the case of silver fillings. Mercury in dental amalgam is combined with other elements to produce a benign compound. A similar process occurs when sodium and chlorine, two highly toxic elements, are combined to produce table salt. Dental fillings containing mercury compounds have been in common use for more than 150 years, and numerous studies have been unable to confirm a link between amalgam fillings and health problems, including a 2008 study that shows that even a "silver" filling bite does not release enough mercury to cause any damage. This has not prevented some health care providers from blaming mercury in fillings for a wide range of health problems, including cancer and nervous system disorders. However, there is a lack of scientific evidence of such claims. The use of amalgam fillings is gradually being eliminated in Europe with the aim of reducing environmental pollution in waste manufacturing and disposal processes. And it is true that good alternatives to amalgam are now available, such as compound resin fillers. However, amalgam fillings remain the most durable, easiest to work with and the lowest cost filling material. If you have a cavity, should I consider getting compound resin fillers instead of amalgam? Sure! They are prettier and can make a stronger tooth today by joining the dental surfaces together. But don't rush to have all your old "plata" fillers replaced based on unverified claims. There's never been any evidence that amalgam fillings are harmful. What's more, the removal of these fillings is likely to expose more mercury than to leave them in, as mercury vapor and small particles are released in the disposal process. Holistic Dentisy Claim 4: Fluoride Must be avoidedThe fluoride compounds are quite abundant in the earth's crust, and naturally occur in variable concentrations in fresh and salt water, including rainwater. Fluoride is also added to many municipal water supplies and has been shown to reduce the incidence of tooth decay in these communities. In fact, fluoridation of drinking water is recognized as one of the "Ten Great Public Health Achievements" of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention of the United States, and is supported by the ADA, the American Academy of Pediatrics and the World Health Organization. Fluoride is also an active ingredient in toothpastes and other dental products. Despite this, a small number of vocal opponents continue to raise the problem of fluoride safety. Fluor has been accused of causing cancer, Alzheimer's disease, infertility, and many other diseases. Is there any truth in these claims? Like many other substances, fluoride is safe when taken in appropriate but potentially harmful amounts if overused. A cosmetic condition called fluorosis, which can cause stains and irregularities on the surface of the teeth, can occur when too much fluoride is ingested. This happens sometimes when children swallow toothpaste instead of spitting it. It also occurs in some communities with high levels of natural fluoride in water well. (These communities also have low levels of tooth decay; this was how it was first discovered that fluoride could prevent cavities.) As for serious diseases such as cancer, there has never been any clear evidence that they can be caused by fluoride. For example, a 2018 study sponsored by a division of National Institutes of Health found no link between fluoride exposure and adverse health effects. However, there is evidence pointing in another direction: It was found that children living in Calgary, a Canadian city that stopped fluoring their water in 2011, had significantly more cavities than children in Edmonton, a similar city with fluoridated water. Do not avoid fluoride if you want to prevent cavities, but it makes sense to keep fluoride intake within the recommended limits. The optimal level of fluoride in water is believed to be 0.7 milligrams per litre. If your well or municipal water contains a much higher level, consider switching to bottled water to avoid the unvisible appearance of fluorosis. However, you should also try the water in the bottle, as some bottled waters have fluoride and some do not. But don't stop using fluoride toothpaste, breaking twice with fluoride toothpaste and floppy floppy once a day have been proven over and over again to be the best ways to fight dental caries at home. Conclusion All doctors and dentists should practice "holists" by providing treatment that is better for the whole person—treatments supported by scientific evidence and a history of safety and effectiveness. Instead of making a decision based on what is trending on social networks, it is prudent to consult a trusted health professional, such as your dentist, when you need advice. Root Canal Alternative " Root Canal Dangers ← Holistic Root Canal Alternatives Read this alternative root channel page carefully – It's important! Discover the hidden secrets behind root channels: the systemic link, potential risks and dangers never discussed in traditional dental literature, root canal alternatives and treatment for teeth treated with root cancer. Knowledge is power and natural denture will give you power with knowledge that saves lives on the realities of the root canal. Understanding what is a root canal and the difference of medical opinions between conventional dentists and biological dentists such as Dr. May is paramount. Whether the patient chooses a change in the root canal or follows a more conventional method, such as the re-re upstream channel (a repeated root channel – not usually recommended for reasons explained below) or simply an extraction with , the goal is to educate the patient and help him make the healthiest decision for his health and well-being. Disclaimer: The official position of the American Academy of Endodontists or supported by the American Association of Dentals or , is that the root channels are safe and include the following statement: "The decades of research contradict the beliefs of the proponents of the "focal infection"; there is no valid, scientific evidence that links the teeth treated endodontics and systemic disease. However, some patients still hear about this long distance theory." As such, we encourage each patient to conduct their own research on whether a root canal procedure is suitable for them, and does not depend exclusively on the information provided on this site. How to navigate the page: After the initial introduction below regarding what we do in the Natural Dentistry and the experience and training of Dr. May in root canal alternatives and diagnosis of root canal infection, follow the sections of the page that will illuminate the dangers of root canals and the holistic alternatives of the root channel available. Jump to jump to jump to jump to jump to jump to the introduction to the natural dentition " Diagnostic root canal " Alternatives to the root channel What do we do in the Natural Dentistry? The goal of Dr. May in Natural Dentistry is to educate each patient in their options when a tooth has an infection and when a tooth with an infected root canal is causing pain and/or showing signs of infection. The detailed diagnosis of the root canal problem of a biological dentist and the alternative knowledge of the root canal empower the patient to make the best decision for their health. In addition, many patients reach Natural Dentisy with unexplained symptoms that are beyond facial, oral or cranial effects and are sometimes related to the systemic side effects of the root canal that sadly, often do not explain by conventional doctors and dentists alike. In some cases, the root canal sites along with the teeth of wisdom teeth extracted perhaps areas of another known as that is something Natural Dentistry leads to diagnose and offer treatment for. Holistic Dentist Trained in Removing Root Channels: Root Canal Huggins Protocol & Weston A Price Many of our patients looking for root canal diagnosis and root canal alternatives have conducted research on Hal Huggins root canal alternatives and the dangers of root canal treatments and have read about Weston A Price research. The foundations of the alternative therapy of the biological root canal have their early beginnings of the pioneers of the twentieth century, but with the advents of technological scanners 3D CBCT Conebeam, ozone therapy, kinesiology tests and other diagnostic tools that science has progressed far beyond the founding parents of danger root channels. Dr. May has not only studied the texts, philosophy, methodology and treatment is presented by Dr. Huggins, but Dr. May is a modern pioneer who has taken that knowledge and IMPROVED has innovated new protocols with diagnosis, treatment and . Dr. May on PRF and ceramic implants (in combination with ozone and oral surgery) is published in several textbooks to which you can find a reference here. In the current world of progressive biocompatible materials, Dr. May is one of the few dentists in the USA. that can offer minimally invasive extraction with to help quickly heal and rebuild the bone naturally, without synthetic particles and offer patients the potential restoration of the entire life of . How is a root canal infection diagnosed? Yes, a 3D dental scanner is also known as one of the only tools to see a root canal infection that is beginning or has been small and cannot be identified by a typical dental X-ray. The X-rays ONLY show the crown surface of the tooth (not the roots) and cannot identify problems with the root channels. Periapical x-rays ("PAs") are the same as x-rays but show the roots of the tooth at times the apex of the tooth (the tip of the tooth root root where root canal infections are usually started) and second, they can show SOLAMENTE a root canal infection after its elaboration for a time LONG and is massive in size (so that a large octopus or visual fistula is produced). What about root channels that are infected but are not the size required to be diagnosed by a conventional dentist without a CBCT scanner or without the knowledge to interpret a 3D cone beam scanner? What about the tooth that is still hurting, but your local dentist is telling you "it looks good on the X-ray" and you don't know what to do. The answer is: and a knowledgeable practitioner who knows how to identify abnormal and infected root channels. How does a Holistic biological dentist diagnosed an abnormal or infected root canal? The root canals are diagnosed more accurately using a . While a holistic dentist may have a scan, not all dentists are radiologically trained to interpret or correctly read a 3D scan (although they can take one). A diagnosis of a biological dentist experienced like Dr. May also performs surgery to remove the infected abnormal teeth from the treated root canal and understands abnormal anatomy radiologically and how it translates to actual findings of tissue and bone through surgery is critical. Typical dental x-rays, usually bites will NOT diagnose a root canal infection as they show nothing except the coronal portion of the tooth. Another form of dental X-ray is the periapical X-ray ("Radio PA") that is equal to a bite X-ray, except that it also shows the root of the tooth, thus showing more relevant information but only in 2D (flat image file) and unless the root canal infection has been festering for a prolonged period, it is enormously large and has a significant bone loss around itCT. Math shows that less than 1% of dentists analyze their patients with Conebeams 3D, usually oral surgeons that are prepared for extractions based on an existing or endodontistic diagnosis to perform a root canal based on an initial diagnosis. Understanding that Conebeam 3D is usually not used in conventional dentistry to evaluate unknown root canal infections, patients should be able to understand why 90+% of root canal infections are not diagnosed by conventional dentists and non-3D dentists of trained CBCT radiology. By the time a typical dentist with typical PA X-rays where only the largest of the large (such as in the most manifestly obvious infections) can be seen by an dentist. 3D Scanner CBCT Example of infected root canals, cavitations, fragile titanium implants Below is the scan of a typical natural dentistry patient (this is a 3D scanner that is exported in 2D format SOLAMENTE for illustrative purposes – it stays on the server and is accessed by Dr. Yuriy May in 3D format for all clinical purposes) The importance of obtaining one cannot be exaggerated, since it is the only failure of titanium implants, dental cavitations, sinus abnormal abnormal abnormal abnormal abnormal abnormal abnormalities, and other pathological processes that CANNO identify in X-rays, PAs or 2D panes. Holistic Dentist vs Conventional Dentist Perspective on Root CanalsConventional Dentist Root Channels Philosophy Many conventional dentists simply don't know anything better – learn that root channels are the standard of care in dentistry (which they are!), safe and effective and that the leading clinical choice in dentistry is to save a tooth that has begun to die or has already died. Think of the perspective of conventional dentistry and the endodontic perspective as "embalming the tooth" as well as the funeral "embalm a dead body" to last longer. Conventional dentists think that "the sole purpose of the tooth is to chew and exist in the mouth" so if they keep it and keep it in the mouth for another 5, 10, 15 years – they have become heroes and saved the tooth. The failure in the thought that "root channels save teeth" is that teeth are more than simply chewing surfaces – they are living organs with immune support and blood flow and autonomous involvement of the nervous system. Once dead, they are dead organs, although conventional dentists consider dead root teeth treated "functional" as they can still perform "reject" functions without pain. In addition, teeth are NOT solid, they are permeable organs with interconnection in the human cellular matrix to our entire body system. Conventional dentists tend to believe that root canals do not cause side effects, and rarely can develop secondary root infections that are treated by RE-root channeling or root canal treatment for a time SECOND. If the tooth treated by the root canal is demolished, the conventional dentist returns to the mentality of "hero saves a tooth" and places the metal poles in glue and support of the dead and demoronated teeth together, knows as a "post and core" mixing the elements of a dead organ, gut-percha, metal rods, composite or amalgam accumulations. Understand how root channels can cause infections " Health problems: get to the root (Canal) of the problem The tooth is ALIVE " Part of the system: The teeth interact with the body's ecosystem through its blood supply and root canals. Patients who have seen endodontics – those dentists who specialize in the root channels – understand that if the only tool you have is a hammer, everything is a nail – and so with endodontics, everything is solved with a root canal. The endodonists and traditional general dentists will discuss the wonders of root canals, while naturopathic doctors, functional doctors, DOs, biological dentists, holistic dentists will tell you this little wisdom: to encourage patients to investigate root canal procedures, associated risk and, importantly, available alternatives. Intuition is one of our strongest, true and primary internal warnings, and it is understandable that more than 70% of patients receiving planned treatment for a root canal prefer to avoid them. Patients are right to be careful, but maybe not for the reasons they think. Symptoms associated with root canals cover several publications, including research documents, testimonies, clinical documents and peer-reviewed books published by some of the most prolific doctors in the industry. Although not every individual experiences negative side effects, others have been said to experience a combination of chronic and debilitating conditions associated with root channels. Understanding the process of a root canal " Dangers of root canals: the patient who did not know better Let's begin with the construction of the base of understanding the physiology and anatomy of a tooth and then immerse in the unexpected process of a root canal. Below is a typical story of a root-channeled tooth and the most common stories of patients who arrive at the natural Dentistry every day of the country and the globe. Allegory below is for your education and to help you better understand the chronology of events that patients experience when they do not investigate root channels before doing so. What is a root canal: A deep dive in the process that kills TeethRoot channel therapy is typically recommended when a conventional dentist notices an advanced disintegration that extends to the dentin of a tooth. They say this will "save" the tooth, but in reality, it only saves the outer structure. In other words, the 'banana' of the tooth is preserved, while the 'banana fruit' inside is absorbed and replaced by cement. This is analogous to the dental structure being the external hard surface and the pulp within the root channels of the dental structure, which is a living organ of real tissue that made the living tooth and provided it with nutrients – it is eliminated. The tooth is dead. The patient has undergone a "root channel" procedure. Murder of the pulp, the supply of life, the tooth. The hollow pulp chamber is filled with a substance similar to the putita and seals with a restoration. Understanding the root canal process " Anatomy: What is the complete Boot Channel? Is it a dental mass or is it a dead bone? Does a tooth need a Nerve? Do you need the blood supply? Dangers of Toxicity of the Root Channel: Side effects of the Root Channels Our bodies are not made of solid and waterproof structures or barriers. In other words, bones and dental structures are not 100% non-perviable materials through which liquids or microbes (such as steel, silicone or plastic) cannot be passed. Our bones and tissues are semi-permeable, which means that microbes, pathogens, nutrients, serum and molecules can pass through our dental and bone structure at all times. This leads us to an eye-opening understanding that Hal Huggin has spent his life educating dental doctors and patients alike, and that holistic and biological dentists have embraced: All in our living body is permeable, nothing in our body can be 100% sterilized, the trajectories of our body are much more complex than the eye or microscope, our tools to combat nature are limited, and infections are never local. Our bones, teeth, and all tissues are semi-permeable: There is no way to create and seal permeable using the structure of the remaining root teeth from the inside, or from the outside. It is impossible to seal a tooth with removed pulp, where once there was infection or necrotic tissue. Impossible to 100% disinfect the inside of the tooth by removing the pulpit: There is no way to guarantee 100% of the bacteria/infection or dead tissue has been eliminated, as the inflexions can travel through the microtubes of the actual dental structure and the tools of a dentist, including the buried and disinfectant liquids (thinking of blerietaach/alcohol/antibiotic all tissues. This means that it is almost impossible to remove 100% of the necrotic tissue or infection. Impossible to remove 100% of the dental pulse, leading the remaining tissue to become necrotic: If someone actually studied the actual channels of a tooth, one will understand that they are somewhat less straight, different and easy to put a wire into and empty (the process of a root canal). Having limited tools, such as sharp thin drilling drills or long thin wires that bend, and even microscopes, there is NO WATER that even the most experienced endodonist can remove all the pulp and never the tissues from the channels. What does this mean? That means that the remnants of traumatized nervous tissue that are not removed die inside the tooth and prevent these cracks from filling with the "gunk" that the endodonists are stuffed into the tooth to make it "not permeable" that is a defective concept, as we speak throughout our article. The remaining dead pulp and nerve tissue is necrotic, and gives perfect fuel to pathogens that feed on mortal remains and propoga, given that the lack of support to the immune system. See the image on the right – Leakage infection in the rest of the Body: If you cannot permanently and permeable the dead tooth inside with the filling substance and cannot remove 100% of the anaerobic bacteria, infection or necrosis during the procedure, this means that a part of the infection remains within the tooth, cut from all the blood supply and helpers of the immune system (T-C) is continually growing. The inflammation of the body occurs. Leakage of root canal infection can lead to chronic disease " Inflammation: Years later, some patients are chronically ill by "unknown reasons". Hal Huggins has found and published cases of teeth extraction in the veiled root, treating the site of extraction of the old root canal with therapy that ultimately led to a complete return to health for patients with chronic disease. Alternatives to root channels: holistic denture Avoid a root channel – How to avoid a root channel and search for root channel alternatives How? Not a root channelContent on how to talk to your conventional dentist shortly! Alternative root channel: Extraction, PRF graft, Ozone " Restrictive options: Zirconia Implant, Bridge or Partial The removal of a tooth as in the extraction of a dying or dead and infected tooth may sound extreme, but in the light of havoc oral pathogens can cause, in our experience and opinion, it is often the least of two evils especially when considering the implications of root canals for long-term health. Once the tooth is removed, the surgical area will be disinfected with and grafted with and with an optimal clinical solution, will be replaced by a. If one is not possible or declined, other restorative options include a Maryland bridge, cantilvered bridge or pontic, a partial removable or even a "remove the tooth and do nothing" approach. Ultimately, the choice is that of the patient. The important thing is to understand the risks and benefits of any dental procedure and to determine the option that best fits your needs, goals and values. Research studies of the root canal " Conclusions Explain the toxicity of the teeth treated by the root canal and the connection to the disease As former endodontic George Meinig once said, "We now believe that each root canal fill invades the structure and bacteria. But the variable factor is the strength of the person's immune system. Some healthy people are able to control germs that escape from their teeth to other areas of the body. We believe that this is because their lymphocytes of the immune system (white cells) and other disease fighters are not constantly committed by other evils. In other words, they are able to prevent these new colonies from taking possession of other tissues throughout the body. But over time, most people with teeth full of root seem to develop some kind of systemic symptoms that they didn't have before. Turn the cancer expert Dr. Joseph Issels, and the bad news is still coming: According to Issels, "A survey conducted in my clinic found that, at the admission, 98% of adult cancer patients had between two and ten dead teeth, each one a dangerous toxin producing 'factory'. The clear implication is that no dentist had carefully evaluated those people for dental foci – oral sources of infection that affect other areas and organs of the body." Issels continues: "Full and complete dental treatment will really succeed in giving the body a chance. The growth of the tumor itself is very often reduced by the treatment of focus. Beard Certified Cardiologist Speaks about the dangers and toxicity of root canalsTom Levy, MD, JD is a Board-certified cardiologist who presented the following at a conference 9 in 2017 on potential hazards and the toxicity of the channel root. More than 5,000 extracted teeth treated with the root carnal were examined and analyzed in a peer-reviewed study published The results were to open your eyes. Of the 5,000 teeth treated with root cancer, 100% had highly potent pathogens and toxins related to the pathogen. It was not found that no tooth treated with the root crank (0,00%) was free of toxins. Compared to normal teeth, not treated with the root that were extracted for orthodontic purposes and analyzed as part of the study, NONE (0%) had signs of toxins or pathogens. Conclusion: All teeth treated with the root produce endogenous toxins continuously while pathogens proliferate in and around the tooth. The root canals identified as "infected" have been found to have fungi, viruses and more than 460 different types of bacteria. Although not all teeth treated with the root can house the entire bouquet of bacteria found, any combination of pathogenic bacteria is possible and represents what can be found in all teeth treated with the root-channel. Patients treated with the cranium and association with the hat, depression, lower quality of life In a recent study published in , they explored the associations between chronic apical periodonitis (CAP) and root canal endotoxin levels in oxidative paths, depression and reduced quality of life. The conclusion highlighted that root channels and "dairy teeth" may be intimately linked to etiology and the course of depression, while significantly reducing quality of life. The evidence indicated that the major depression is accompanied by a greater translocation of common intestinal gramnegative bacteria (laceous arctic) and the resulting activation of oxidative and nitrosant pathways (or pests). There were significant and positive associations between the chronic Acytic Journalontitis "CAP" or root canal endotoxin with the vegetative and physio-somatic symptoms of depression, as well as a meaningful reverse association (negatively correlative) between root canal endotoxin and the quality of life with strong effects on psychological, environmental and social domains. It was concluded that the increase in endotoxin levels of the root canal (lipopolysaccharides, LPS) that accompany the CAP can cause depression and lower quality of life, which can be explained in part by activated oxidative pathways, especially metabolites of nitric oxide (NOx) thus improving hypernitrosylation and therefore progressive neurological processes. Endotoxin levels of the root canal (lipopolysaccharides, LPS) were positively associated with CAP, clinical depression and severity of depression (as measured by the Hamilton Depression Scale (HDRS) and the Beck Depression Inventory). Layman says: The root canals may be intimately linked to depression, the leaking intestine, and the lower quality of life. Root Canal Alternatives So, what to do if a tooth is so infected that root channel therapy can be called for?1. Don't do anything. (DANGER – don't do this)2. Channel treatment. (It is an option – make sure to do your research first ... read this page is a good start...)3. Tooth removal with proper disinfection of tooth-taking (prefer) and appropriate grafting (prefer) of the site. (You're smart!) There are some biological dentists who believe that it can still be an option as long as the channel is completely disinfected with ozone before sealing, but as we have observed, that may not be a good long-term solution. The position in which the main biological and holistic dentists agree, is that the torn teeth should be removed in the root showing signs of infection and completely cleaned the area with antibacterial and antifungal agents, such as ozone, and then grafted with autogenous bone graft material. What to do if an existing root canal tooth is infected?1. Don't do anything. (DANGER – don't do this)2. Treatment of teeth treated by the root canal. (Root Canal Root) Does this sound smart? If it did not work the first time, and we do the same procedure the second time....your choice.)3. Tooth removal with proper disinfection of tooth-taking (prefer) and appropriate grafting (prefer) of the site. (You're smart!) What you don't know can harm you Why do traditional dentists and endodontics love root channels It is easy for non-initiated to misunderstand science behind the holistic dentist and its comprehensive health approach. Nor is it the fault of dentists and endodontics who only know what they know and nothing else – they spent 4 years in dental schools being taught that the root canals SAVE teeth and that the teeth without blood, no nerves, no octopus, no vitals are alive, and not "dead" as the biological dentists believe. An article in the journal of Endodontics' January 1982 tried to make a case that a tooth without pulp is not a dead tooth. His argument is that the tooth still has a definite and vital relationship with the surrounding tissue; the author insists; the life of the tooth depends on the attachment apparatus, that is, the periodontium and the annexe. In the words of Dr. Grossman and Dr. Marshall, "The life of the tooth depends on the integrity of the periodontal membrane and not on the integrity of the pulp... If a tooth without pulp was a dead tooth, it should be exfoliated as the body does not tolerate dead tissue. That a tooth without pulp is not dead can be quickly proven by an attempt to remove such tooth without anesthesia. What is the current scientific literature, peer-reviewed articles that connect periodontal disease, 9, 10 teeth treated by the root canal, and chronic osteonecrotic or osteonecrotic lesions that connect these conditions with systemic disease? Today, research on periodontal disease bacterial microbiology 11, 12 and the toxicity of teeth treated by root canal 13, have been published, using advanced biopsy techniques ranging from polymerase chain reaction technique (DNA) to the lisado of Limulus amobocyte (LAL) essay kinetic sheogenic LADS (KQCLge) and the essay kinetic If you want to know the most For more specific and detailed information on root channels, see: Clinical studies and research papers on linkages between root canal and chronic health conditionsImage by Zzyzx11, via Wikimedia Commons Recent Posts Explore our services
